CED leadership is by a Board of Directors and a competent management team spearheading its daily operations. Stakeholders consultation is engraved in CED’s leadership approach so that decisions made by management and the board take on board the wider views of the constituency that influences CED’s work in Somalia.
The Board of Directors is the highest and most important authority of the organization. The BOD sets a strategic vision, mission and priorities of the organization.
The management of the organization rests upon the executive director who is responsible for planning, designing and implementing the organizations’ programs. The executive director and managers of departments form the senior management team of the organization. CED has a teams of competent and dedicated qualified staff with substantial years of experience in various professional backgrounds from project management, human rights and access to justice, gender, youth empowerment, education, agriculture, livestock, fishery, commerce, civil engineering, finance and administration, information, communication & technology (ICT), logistics and operations, human resource and management, development studies, M&E, peace building, conflict resolution and civic education.
